The ISETS Sustainability Institute—the trading name of the Institute for Energy Transition & Sustainability Pty Ltd (ABN 50638179647)—is an Australia-based international think tank with an innovative, network-driven model that draws on expertise from around the world. It brings together leading researchers and practitioners across disciplines to address key challenges in the broader landscape of the low-carbon energy transition.

The Institute conducts research and provides analytical and consulting services on energy and environmental issues. Its work supports the transition of fossil-fuel sectors, advances innovation and the adoption of clean and green energy technologies, addresses socio-economic challenges, and helps stakeholders adapt to a rapidly changing global landscape. It also promotes evidence-based policymaking, international cooperation, and capacity for long-term sustainable development.

As a founding institutional member of the International Society for Energy Transition Studies (ISETS),  IETS serves as the Secretariat of the International Society for Energy Transition Studies (ISETS), supporting its daily administration, programme coordination, communications, events, partnerships, and other operational functions.
